Absentee ballots are available at the Norwalk Town Clerk’s Office for voters who wish to cast ballots in primary elections Aug. 14 but won’t be able to get their polling place that day.
Town Clerk Richard McQuaid anticipates between 250 and 300 Norwalk voters will avail themselves of the opportunity to vote by absentee ballot with perhaps more Democrats than Republicans choosing the option, given two local Democratic primary races.
