Diane Jellerette has lived in Norwalk for over 25 years in District D.  She is currently the Executive Director of the Norwalk Historical Society a non-profit organization for the last 10 years. Prior to that, she held several technical and management positions in Software Systems Engineering for fortune 100 corporations for over 20 years.
She is one of the co-founders , Norwalk Green Association and on the Advisory Board, The Norwalk Art Space.
Diane and her husband Troy, have raised two children, Danielle and Taylor in Norwalk. They both attended Norwalk Public Schools.
Diane attended the University of Massachusetts – Amherst where she received her B.S. in Computers Systems Engineering.  She has earned several certificates in Museum operations.

Diane wants to be involved in Norwalk’s plans for the future. By listening to our residents and business owners for their current and future needs. She values the importance of continuing to invest in our children and schools, making it a top priority. Ensure our local government is fiscally responsible in how money is being spent.  As Norwalk grows, looking at smart City development plans. Preserve and maintain Norwalk’s open land spaces, parks, and waterways to assist in healthy living. Support plans for a walkable and bike friendly City. Encourage the City to look at more traffic calming approaches to keep our residents safe. Promote inclusion and equity in all that we do. Norwalk’s diversity makes it a desirable place to live.
