BIOGRAPHY

Dominique Johnson represents the 143rd House District, covering parts of Norwalk and Westport, and serves as Deputy Majority Leader. Elected to the State House in 2022, Johnson sits on the Judiciary, Government Administration and Elections, and Environment committees.

Before joining the legislature, Johnson served two terms as an at-large member of Norwalk’s Common Council, chairing its Community Services Committee. Johnson has also worked as a nonprofit consultant and college professor, holds a PhD in education, co-founded Norwalk Women Who Vote, and served on the board of the Triangle Community Center.
