Dana Nellie Cole is a life-long resident of Norwalk and a proud graduate of Norwalk Public Schools. Her first-hand experience at NPS is what drives her to want to help pave the way for new generations of students. As an active participant in Norwalk’s city-wide music program and as a student of Global Studies at Brien McMahon High School, Nellie understands how pivotal such opportunities can be for students and will work to make certain that these and more remain available to all, regardless of personal circumstance. Nellie personally understands the struggles and disadvantages that can come with lack of proper resources and understanding and will advocate to make sure that each child is provided the support that fits to their needs. Every child deserves the best that Norwalk can give them, and together, we can fight to make that a reality. Nellie has her BA in Art History from UConn and is a proud member of Delta Alpha Pi Honors Society for students with disabilities.
