Johan Lopez was elected to the Norwalk Common Council in 2023, and currently chairs the Ad-Hoc Sustainability and Resilience Committee. Johan completed a Master of Science in Quantitative Economics (STEM) from the University of Connecticut with a focus on statistical learning, econometrics, and stochastic calculus for finance. He serves as a consultant for the World Bank Group, evaluating how financing supports client governments to achieve development objectives. Johan previously worked for Deloitte, and in actuarial science. Johan is also the co-founder of a start-up, bringing innovative problem-solving and entrepreneurial experience to the Common Council.
