I grew up in Norwalk, attending the St. Joseph’s Parish, Rowayton Elementary and Roton Middle schools. As an adult, I returned to Norwalk on a part-time basis in 2001 before moving back to Connecticut as a full-time resident in 2007. I have been an active volunteer in Norwalk ever since, serving on the boards of Shakespeare on the Sound, The Rowayton Library (Secretary and VP), the Rowayton Gardeners (VP for two terms, Treasurer for two terms, and Secretary) and the Norwalk Land Trust. I was appointed to the Norwalk Conservation Commission by Mayor Harry Rilling in the winter of 2019. I have volunteered in a myriad of capacities for my Dartmouth College class since my graduation in 1980.
In my professional career, I joined the Chicago office of McDermott Will & Emery, an international law firm, after earning my law degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 1984. After the birth of my first daughter, I moved to The Northern Trust Company in 1992. Upon my retirement in the late 90s to raise my two daughters, I launched my “volunteer” career, involving myself in many different schools, sports, and civic organizations.
I look forward to my continued conversations with the constituents of District E to answer any questions you may have and to learn more about how I can be of service to our District and to our City.
