Marcus Jaime

Marcus Jaime lives in Norwalk with his wife and two children, who both attend Wolfpit Elementary School. He deeply believes in quality public education being accessible for all students. He grew up in the Bronx and is a proud product of the NYC public school system. He holds a B.A. in Sociology and a M.S. in School Counseling from CUNY. He has over 20 years of experience in education, including several positions with the New York City Department of Education. He has worked as both a teacher and a dean, and is currently a School Counselor. In various roles, he has worked closely with students, families, administrators and school staff; often having to use problem solving and advocacy skills to reach the shared goal of ensuring all students have access to a quality education. He aims to bring these skills to the Norwalk Public Schools community and to help work towards the student-focused culture that we all want for our children.
