
Running for: Common Council At-Large
Nicol Ayers was first elected to the Norwalk Common Council in District A 2021, and currently chairs the Community Services Committee. She is a native of Norwalk CT with over 15 years of experience in the Human Services/Youth Service fields. She attended the University of Connecticut, Storrs, and finished her degree Sacred Heart University, where she obtained a bachelor’s in science in Political Science and a Minor in Psychology, before going on to complete the Master of Public Administration program. As a senior executive in the nonprofit sector, Nicol has received extensive training in adolescent behavior and treatment programs, family reunification, life skills development and mental health assessments. She is also the director of a Christian based youth outreach ministry. She is running for Council At-Large because Norwalk needs leaders who listen, work together, and try to make the city fairer for all.
